Janet overcame meth-addiction and a toxic relationship with a meth-cook and wrote the hard-hitting memoir, The Wild Side under her maiden name, Janet Balcombe. She has also written the powerful true stories, Radical Lives Vol 1 & 2. Together they run a healing and recovery centre in Northland called Arapohue Retreat for the traumatised and addicted.
